I've been persuing the idea of collaborative artwork for the last several years now. I find it interesting to take a picture that has the value of spontaniousness and rework it into artwork.
The subject of this photo is a friend of mine, Saber Maurer, who is young - but as they say, young enough to know better - and like many young women is somewhat concerned with the idea of her image, and how she appears to others.
The idea is to take something that might end up being lost or forgotten and turn it into a permanant work of art.
What do you think?
