Former Professor Says - Bush A Terrible Student And Pathological Liar

clipped from bravenewfilms.org

I admit it, I like beating up on George Bush and his 24% approval rating. He’s clearly the worst president in our history (sorry Ronnie, you’re now number two) and his abysmal presidency should serve as a painful lesson to all Americans that intellect and honesty are qualifications we need to demand from our future leaders.

The evidence was out there, we should have paid attention. Take it from Yoshi Tsurumi. One of George Bush's professors at Harvard Business School, Yoshi believed Bush lacked the character and intellect to lead the country. According to Tsurmi,

Bush showed pathological lying habits and was in denial when challenged on his prejudices and biases. He would even deny saying something he just said thirty seconds ago. He was famous for that. Students jumped on him; I challenged him. When asked to explain a particular comment, Bush would respond, Oh, I never said that.

Tsurmi said Bush sometimes came late to class and often sat in the back row of the theater-like classroom, wearing a bomber jacket from the Texas Air National Guard and spitting chewing tobacco into a cup.

He was such a bad student that I asked him once how he got in. He said, “My dad has good friends”. Bush scored in the lowest 10 percent of the class.

I hope we have learned never to be so unaware again. The lack of mindfulness can be devastating.
